Des Esseintes
Des Esseintes is a decorative arts and design advisory, building private collections of furniture from Neoclassicism to Art Deco. Founded by Cléa Basset and Louis Samperez, the practice advises on each acquisition and sources pieces for private collectors and interior designers, drawing on a close understanding of the savoir-faire that defines the French decorative canon. For brands and cultural institutions, it conceives the settings of their exhibitions and artistic events. Each project is carried through from the first conversation to the installation of the pieces.
